T-Mobile Expands Simple Global Coverage to 20 more countries

T-Mobile announced on Thursday that it is expanding its international coverage by adding 20 countries and locations to its Simple Global feature

The updated Simple Global plans now include 145 countries where customers can get these rates, according to T-Mobile, which announced the latest destinations on Sept. 17.

All T-Mobile Simple Choice customers get Simple Global as a free add-on, it provides unlimited data and texting at no extra cost to the country in a total of 145 countries and destinations as well as low flat-rate calls for $0.20 per minute.Making two-hours-worth of calls in these countries means that T-Mobile customers would pay $24 at 20 cents a minute, while receiving no extra charges for data or texts, according to the company.

According to T-Mobile, the standard data speed for the Simple Global plan is 2G (128kbps). Customers can pay up for faster service, with T-Mobile charging $15 for 100MB to be used in a day. $25 will buy you 200MB and $50 gets you 500MB. The last two options must be used within a two-week period.

Other new additions include Haiti plus nine European countries: Monaco, Albania, Belarus, Bosnia, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia; five European destinations: Guernsey, Alderney, Jersey, Sark, and Isle of Man; and four other countries: Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan,

Simple Global covers T-Mobile users outside North America, the carrier also has a plan called Mobile without Borders which provides calls to landlines and mobile as well as 4G LTE data from your plan across the United States as well as Canada and Mexico.
