AT&T has announced it will begin accepting pre-orders for the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier starting tomorrow, November 4th. The Gear S3 will be available in three variants, the Gear S3 Classic, Gear S3 Frontier, and the Gear S3 Frontier LTE. Pricing on the WiFi models land at $349 each and feature the same rotating bezel from the Gear S2
AT&T customers will be able to buy the device for $49.99 with a two-year contract attached and the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy smartphone. Otherwise, the device will run you $17.50 per month for 20 months as long as you keep your AT&T service.
The Gear S3 use Gorilla Glass SR+ on the 1.3" screen, with the same 360x360 resolution of the previous model. It's a bit larger than the S2 at 12.9mm thick (using 22mm bands), and a much more expansive 380mAh battery. RAM gets boosted to 768MB, and the new models have both GPS and Samsung Pay compatibility.
