Apple’s 4-inch iPhone 5SE and iPad Air 3 are set to launch at Apple’s yet-to-be confirmed March 15 event. However, both the devices are expected go on sale as early as March 18, says a report on 9to5Mac

The iPhone 5SE will reportedly pack Apple's latest processor, the A9, and the M9 motion co-processor. This means the phone will have all the same features as its bigger-sized brothers the 6s and 6s plus; including the ability to take Live Photos and have always on "Hey Siri" functionality.

As for the iPad Air 3, it's said to take after the recently-released iPad Pro featuring a speaker near each of its four corners. The 9.7-inch tablet will also reportedly have a Smart Connector and Apple Pencil support. It's also said to have a flash for its rear-facing camera.

Unlike the larger displays of the iPhone 6 (4.7 inches) and iPhone 6 Plus (5.5 inches), the iPhone 5se will revert back to the 4-inch screen size of the iPhone 5 range. The iPhone 5se will replace the iPhone 5s at the bottom of Apple’s iPhone portfolio and is expected to be similar in design to its predecessor.

It sounds like these products will launch without the typical pre-order period that Apple typically offers, which is a little bit unusual for the company.
