Apple Music Adds New Weekly ‘Friends Mix’ in For You

Apple Music is rolling out a new discovery mix called the Friends Mix,  which updates every Monday. It collates 25 songs that your Apple Music friends have been listening to.

The new "Friends Mix" playlists are currently in beta testing and available only to Apple Music subscribers running beta versions of iOS 12, macOS Mojave, or tvOS 12.

News of the playlist was first spotted by a user on Reddit, then reported by 9to5Mac, AppleInsider and several others


The recent update to the Apple Music, we now get to see Friends Mix that includes all the songs listened to by your friends. There are various other mixes (playlists) like New Music Mixes, Chill, Favorites, Chill and more.

YouTube Dark Mode Now Available On Android User

YouTube added a dark mode to its desktop site last year, Google announced that the option to change the theme would be coming to iOS and Android back in March.

A few months after the YouTube dark mode made its appearance on iOS, it’s finally available for YouTube on Android devices.

Some users are reporting that the official YouTube app on Android has mysteriously switched over to the dark theme.

The new option in the settings menu under the general section can just as easily be toggled off back to disable the dark theme and revert to the usual lighter colors.

Apple's 2018 iPad Pro will be Smaller and no Headphone Jack

New reports that have detailed Apple’s plans for new bezel-less iPad Pro models set to arrive later this year, The latest reports from Macotakara say that upcoming iPad Pro devices from Apple will have slightly smaller bodies, a relocated smart connector, and no headphone jack.

The models of 10.5-and the 12.9-inch display will be shrinking certain of their dimensions as well, the same report claims, coming from the Japanese website Macotakara.


The 10.5-inch model will go from 250.6 x 174.1 x 6.1 millimeters to 247.5 x 178.7 x 6, according to Japanese site Macotakara. The 12.9-inch device will allegedly switch from 305.7 x 220.6 x 6.9 millimeters to 280 x 215 x 6.4.


These dimensions line up with rumors suggesting Apple plans to introduce a full redesign with the 2018 iPad Pro models, slimming down the bezels much like it did with the iPhone X.

This report does raise a lot of questions about Apple’s upcoming iPad Pro lineup. The lack of landscape support in Face ID, a repositioned Smart Connector, The new 12.9-inch and 11-inch iPad Pros are expected to become official in the second week of September at Apple’s annual fall event.

Apple Released New iPhone X ad ‘Unleash' Highlighting A11 Bionic Chip

Apple has released a new ad Published to Apple's YouTube channel on Wednesday.

Apple is calling the new ad ‘Unleash,’ touting that the iPhone X allows you to “unleash a more powerful you” thanks to the A11 Bionic chip inside.


The ad shows a man walking down the street playing iOS multiplayer online battle arena game Vainglory. a game that takes advantage of the A11 Bionic chip and Apple’s Metal API to offer console-quality graphics and fast-action gameplay.

Today’s ad is just the latest in Apple’s iPhone X marketing push. Earlier this month, the company showcased the device’s Face ID functionality in a humorous game show-themed ad.

Google Rumored to Launch a new Pixelbook 2 this year

Google may launch a new version of its premium Pixelbook Chromebook later this year.

According to serial leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks), Google is planning to launch a second-generation Pixelbook with smaller bezels, which will start shipping before the end of this year. The tweet doesn’t include any additional information

The first-generation Chrome OS-running device from Google is among the best Chromebooks device and offers killer performance with amazing keyboard and a sturdy build.


If Google wants second-gen Pixelbook owners to use a stylus while interacting with Chrome OS and third-party apps, the company should include the Pixelbook Pen in the retail packaging

We know Google is taking hardware seriously this year. While everybody expected the Pixel 3 this year, three separate smartwatches and a Pixelbook shows that the company means business.

The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in August 9 will not only see the reveal of its latest Galaxy Note9. According to the latest rumors Samsung is set to unveil a new wireless charger with the Galaxy Note 9. This charger was certified by the FCC last month.


According to a leak by Roland Quandt: “This is the Samsung Wireless Charger Duo (EP-N6100) for the Galaxy Note 9. Charges the Galaxy Watch alongside the phone.”


An image of the new chargers box reveals that it will be called Wireless Charger Duo. There will be two charging pads on it, one standing at an angle and one lying horizontally.

The Samsung Wireless Charger Duo (EP-N6100)  is not quite as neat as the Airpower mat, featuring two different charging locations, but will be happy to fast charge two phones or a phone and the new Galaxy Watch. but no additional details about availability and pricing in other regions are available at the moment.
