Facebook is rolling out new option "Order Food" to a select users in the United States which will let them order food directly from its app, preventing you from unnecessarily fidgeting over other food ordering websites or navigating over restaurant’s own websites or apps.

The Order Food feature is still be gradually rolled out to select users, and even then it may not be fully supported just yet. Some have found the menu option, but after clicking on it they get a message that there are no nearby restaurants available to deliver

Users can then click “Start Order” to begin the ordering process, can edit orders and add tips before going through to checkout. The page then displays an order confirmation and expected time of delivery.

The newly incorporated colorful hamburger icon on the desktop and a new blue-and-white hamburger icon on smartphones is a fresh option for the Facebook users to place a pickup and delivery option for foods from restaurants through Delivery.com or Slice.

Represented by a hamburger icon, the option lets Facebook users place food pickup and delivery orders from restaurants using Delivery.com or Slice, Tech Crunch reported on Friday.
