The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active might not be official yet but that's not stopped plenty of leaks already revealing the look and now the specs of the handset.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active will be exclusive to AT&T in theUS and the device will apparently be eligible for the company’s buy one get one free deals. the S7 Active will be exclusive to AT&T when it launches in June — likely on June 10

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is the ruggedised version of the normal Galaxy S7 and comes with the usual water resistance, dust resistance with almost the same specifications like the Galaxy S7.

The design of the S7 Active (pictured above, in black and gold) has not changed much from last year’s Active model

The spec sheet reveals the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active will be a 5.1-inch AMOLED screened smartphone with 1440 x2560 resolution, just like the Galaxy S7. Unlike that, this one will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor but will have a hefty 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage.

A new 4000mAh capacity battery, up from the Galaxy S6 Active’s 3500mAh battery (and 3000mAh in the standard Galaxy S7) is being blamed for the weight gain, although the phone itself will still sport the standard 5.1 inch 1440 x 2560-pixel Super AMOLED display screen from the Galaxy S7.

On photography matters, there is no change from what you get on this year’s S7 and S7 Edge. You get a 12MP DualPixel main sensor that ensures photos remain of good quality even when in poor lighting conditions. There is a decent 5MP selfie camera on the front panel.
