Verizon Launches go90 Video Streaming App for Android and iOS the new go90 video app is available for download and use on Android smartphones and tablets. The service is said to be available even to non-Verizon subscribers, but content will be offered with limitations

The app is called go90 because of our tendency of rotating our phones 90 degrees while watching videos, although there are still many people who like to shoot videos vertically.

According to Verizon, Go90 will include "live events, prime-time TV, best-of-the-web and original series across comedy, music, gaming, lifestyle, sports, news and entertainment" thanks to deals with ESPN, Scripps Networks, CBS Sports, Dream Works, Vice Media, Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, ID and the Science Channel, among others.Verizon said it expects to almost double its original series count by the end of the year.

Go90 also lets you create “Crews” which is basically a group where you can share content regularly with your friends and family. The particularity of this app is that you can “cut and share” video clips meaning that from inside the app you can share out to text (SMS), email, Facebook and Twitter
